Wiltshire Council says anyone found selling their free tickets on for Salisbury’s Armed Forces Day will be refused entry.
Free tickets for Saturday evening featuring headliner Kaiser Chiefs are no longer available, but some are being sold on social media.
A Wiltshire Council spokesperson said: “We’re disappointed that people would choose to sell tickets for this free event, which is an opportunity to support our troops for all the work they do for us.
“Please do not attempt to buy or sell tickets to Armed Forces Day National Event in Salisbury, as anyone found doing so will have their tickets cancelled and will be refused entry.
“Free tickets are still available on our website for the Friday and Sunday. Saturday tickets are fully allocated, but if you have tickets you no longer need, please return them to us so we can release them to people who want to attend. If you wish to attend on the Saturday, please check our social media channels for any release of returned tickets.”
