Medal Awarded To Man Who Shielded Partner With His Body During Tunisia Attack

A Welsh holidaymaker who acted as a human shield to save his partner during the Tunisia terror attack is to receive an award, it has been announced. Mathew James, 30, from Pontypridd, was shot three times while protecting his fiancee Saera Wilson. St John Cymru-Wales revealed Mr James has been awarded a silver Life Saving Medal for his “conspicuous act of gallantry”.
