Why join ExForcesNet?

ExForcesNet has been born out of 15 years of supporting people in leaving the Forces.  This platform is designed to enhance, multiply and deliver that support on a 24×7 basis.

ExForcesNet is for anyone who is serving or has served in the Armed Forces and for the families of the same.

You can join for any one of the following reasons:

  • To get support as you go through transition.
  • To provide support from your own experience, to those going through transition.
  • To build ties with those in Civilian industry to knowledge share and to build a network you can exploit as you look to depart.
  • To perpetuate the camaraderie enjoyed while serving.

As serving or ex-serving members of the Armed Forces, we seem to have an uncanny knack of “knowing” one of our own, irrespective of the Service, Arm, Regiment or Corps.  We trust those that have served because we are a breed apart; a family.

It is on that basis that the information and advice shared in ExForcesNet is somewhat more trusted, as it is from people with a track record of having done it, and given with intent to provide “mutual support”.

The network is here to provide a multitude of answers to questions that you may have, so that you may gather that data and extract the information that suits you.

ExForcesNet will also be taking networking out of the purely web based domain with some good old fashioned face to face networking.  It is in this environment that we get our best information, as it is underpinned with the dialogue and confirmation.  There will be events throughout the year for general regional networking and an annual or biannual conference subject to interest and take up.
